SPARK! Places of Innovation — Museum on Main Street
Discover the people, ideas, and moments of creativity that have shaped Snyder, Scurry County, and West Texas! From October 3 through November 15, the Ritz Community Theatre will host SPARK! Places of Innovation, a six-week traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum on Main Street program.
Museum on Main Street brings world-class Smithsonian exhibitions to small-town America while celebrating the unique stories, traditions, and achievements of the communities that host them. SPARK! explores how innovation can begin anywhere—and how individuals working together can transform their communities and inspire lasting change.
Each week of the exhibition will spotlight a different part of Scurry County’s story:
October 3–8: Celebrating Community Spirit and Local Heritage Traditions
October 9–15: Celebrating the Arts
